 Oxfam in Vietnam is currently seeking qualified national consultant(s) to provide Training and capacity building on digital commerce applications for cooperatives in the shrimp and rice sectors in the Mekong Delta region.
The objective of the activity is to support members of cooperatives and collaborative groups in the shrimp and rice sectors, especially female members, in enhancing their understanding, access to, and application of digital commerce for product promotion and sales. This, in turn, contributes to stabilizing market outlets, increasing income, and improving livelihoods for the members.
The project will select consultants to provide basic training for members of cooperatives and collaborative groups in the project’s target provinces. A number of suitable cooperatives will receive intensive direct coaching to enable their members to proficiently utilize digital commerce channels and digital tools for product promotion and sales.
This consultancy contributes to the DGD program, and aims to enhance safety, well-being, and working conditions for female farmers and seasonal laborers in agricultural production in a gender-responsive manner.
