Angels’ Haven is a Korean Non-profit Organization established in 1959, started caring for war orphans and has been with neighbors in need. 

Angels’ Haven has been caring out many projects of international; development cooperation since 2007 with our experiences in the welfare of persons with disabilities, children and vulnerable groups. Through international development cooperation in various regions and fields, we support positive change in developing countries.

Angels’ Haven is participating in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through the health care, education, women empowerment, support for persons with disabilities, and global partnership. Angels’ Haven’s efforts will contribute to reduce all forms of poverty and inequality in the world.

Angels’ Haven has been working in Viet Nam since 2017 focusing on supporting the persons with disabilities.

JOB SUMMARY

Project Assistant is responsible for supporting project activity preparation, implementation, and follow-up works in the Angels’ Haven Vietnam Branch office in collaboration with colleagues, with a focus on documentation, PR, applications, program, and project proposals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?Support in creation of new project proposals and Non-project programs

• Conduct background research and surveys for new projects and non-project programs
• Research project and non-project program-related information online and offline
• Participate in the business trip and field research
• Administrative and financial work in relation to making proposals
• Write reports of the activities and works

Project related duties

• Participate in the initiation, planning, implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of the related activities
• Report on project activities and expenditures as requested by the PM, PO and according to project timeframes
• Translation (English) and documentation of the project-related activities.

Non-project related duties

• Preparation, implementation of non-project programs (ex. Charity Tour/Volunteer Program)
• Management of public relations channels (social media: Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
• Documentation and submission of applications and necessary documents to related agency

Qualifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Disability, Social Work, Social development, or a related field
• At least 01-year experience working in a related field
• Excellent English communication skills; language skills in Korean are an advantage.
• Willing to take on responsibilities, work independently and efficiently and travel for work if necessary
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
• Other qualities:

2. People who can listen to others' stories. And do not say that things that are different from mine are wrong.
3. People who are not afraid to learn new things and can share what they have learned with others.
