"For those affected by trauma and those who support them, Hagar is an expert in care and recovery. When healing happens, the cycle of trauma stops. Who: Survivors, mainly women and children who have experienced the worst kind of exploitation, violence, and abuses. Where: Focusing upon northern Vietnam provinces but accepting very complex cases nationally. How: Through 5 strategic goals: Heal. Prevent. Partner. Empower. Influence. We provide survivors, directly and indirectly, with the support and access to quality social services they need to heal and live independent lives. We strengthen prevention in target communities. We facilitate survivors with opportunities to lead in their community, nationally, and internationally. We use our field-based experiences to strengthen national legislation and implementation standards.
