The Mekong River Commission (MRC) is the only inter-governmental agency that works directly with the governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam on their common specific interests, joint management of shared water resources, and sustainable development of the Mekong River.
Hagar, established in 1994, is a specialist trauma-informed care agency that works primarily with women and children suffering from trauma as a result of human trafficking, slavery and abuse. Since 2009, Hagar Vietnam has responded to the needs of survivors of human trafficking, violence, and abuse nationally through community-based services and training programs. Today, Hagar implements programs in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Singapore, and Vietnam, and through partners in Myanmar and the Solomon Islands.
