The USAID Workforce for an Innovation and Start-up Ecosystem (WISE) is USAID Vietnam’s effort to innovate ways to develop the workforce readiness sector by supporting the country’s burgeoning private sector and non-profit market for training workers in Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) skill sets. The goal of USAID’s WISE activity is to pilot solutions that could improve Vietnam’s 4IR workforce readiness status. WISE is managed under USAID’s U.S. Support for Economic Growth in Asia (US-SEGA) program. The Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI)’s National Innovation Center (NIC) is the Government of Vietnam’s partner for the WISE pilot.
