This is a paper which was prepared by Social Work Advisor Trish Kane, for the Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) conference, Halong, Vietnam 2-3rd April 2010.
Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) is a globally recognised model of practice for working with people with disability. It is particularly relevant to developing countries, although not exclusively so. On the 2/3 April, Molisa (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs) held a conference in Halong, to explore and share aspects of CBR practice throughout Vietnam.
The paper is available to view in both English and Vietnamese.
