As part of the “Circular Economy Cocoa: From Bean to Bar” project funded by the EU, Helvetas is collaborating with Marou Chocolate J.S.C. to address challenges related to cadmium accumulation in cocoa beans. This consultancy aims to identify the root causes, propose mitigation strategies, and implement solutions for safe and sustainable cocoa production, aligned with circular economy principles.



Key Consultancy Details:

  *   Duration: February to August 2025 (06 months); extension will be considered.
  *   Location: Ben Tre and Tien Giang
  *   Scope: Investigation of the causes, solutions proposals, pilot implementation, monitoring and training.



Application Requirements:

  1.  Technical Proposal:

     *   Team composition and CVs of relevant experts.
     *   Proposed methodology, work plan, and quality assurance measures.

  1.  Financial Proposal:

     *   Detailed cost breakdown, including consulting rates, travel expenses, and additional costs.
     *   Budget justification aligned with EU Cost Norms (2022).
