A great funding opportunity for those working to protect our oceans and
support coastal communities !

*OCEAN*, part of the Blue Planet Fund which is jointly managed by the UK’s
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and FCDO, is
offering grants for projects that deliver lasting change to the marine
environment, with a focus on *gender equality, disability, and social

There are two types of grants available.

   - Community Grants <https://oceangrants.org.uk/apply/community-grants/>
   *:* Smaller grants for local organizations working on local solutions to
   marine and poverty issues. Deadline: *February 17th, 2025*
   - Partnership Grants
   <https://oceangrants.org.uk/apply/partnership-grants/>*:* Larger grants
   for collaborations between organizations to deliver solutions at scale.
   Deadline: *March 24th, 2025*
