The UNDP Viet Nam seeks 01 International consultant for Project Preparation "Conservation of Critical Wetland Protected Areas and Linked Landscapes".
The Government of Viet Nam, represented by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), received the Global Environment Facility (GEF) assistance through UNDP to carry out a full size project to establish new wetland protected areas and to create capacities for their effective management to mitigate existing and emerging threats from connected landscapes. The project aims to promote sustainable use of wetlands and of the wider landscape, trough addressing the present barriers to achieve the long-term solution for effective wetlands conservation in Viet Nam.

The UNDP Country Office (CO) in Vietnam is seeking one qualified short-term international Consultant to work as the international Project Preparation Consultant (IPPC).

Under the overall guidance of the Sustainable Development Unit of UNDP CO, MONRE and UNDP-GEF Regional Coordination Unit the International Consultant will define and coordinate the inputs of two national project preparation consultants, together with staff members of MONRE and UNDP to prepare a comprehensive set of project documents which meet UNDP, MONRE and GEF requirements for approval.

The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
