PROGRAMME ADVOCACY OFFICER - EDUCATION
Reference number: INT3697
The post is offered on an open-ended contract, based in Hanoi

The Role:          To manage implementation of Oxfam GB's Education 
Programme in Daknong Province, Vietnam. To develop and then lead new 
education activities of the programme with an advocacy focus. 

Reports to:        Programme Coordinator for Education Programme
The requirements:
Proven experience of contributing to programme strategic planning and to 
advocacy strategy development and implementation
Sound experience in programme coordination and negotiation, including 
participatory approaches 
Sound experience in resource management e.g. people, finances, assets
University degree, preferably education, social science related or/and 
management
Good understanding and practical experience in application of equity 
issues (gender and diversity)
Experiences in media works, education campaigns, working with Ministry of 
Education and Training would be an asset
Good understanding of rural development and gender issues in Vietnam
Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese
Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoints and Internet) 
Able to travel to programme/project areas on a regular basis
Preferred expertise in a relevant area(s):  education, livelihoods, 
minorities, gender etc.

Gross Annual Salary Range:      US$ 13,100 – US$ 15,700
