[ingodirectors] Request for Inputs for Social Watch 2013 Report

Dear INGO colleagues and friends:

I would like to invite one or more member INGOs to volunteer for 
drafting an article (maximum 2,300 words) on Vietnam for the Social 
Watch Report 2013. The main theme for the last year's report was 'The 
Right to a Future' and spoke about growing inequalities and unregulated 
finances which expropriate people from benefits of global prosperity. 
The provisional theme for 2013 report will be about 'Ends and Means'. 
Social Watch will be looking at the goals that each country wants to 
achieve; as well as the policies and resources that have been mobilized 
to make that happens.

The VUFO-NGO Resource has contributed with articles for the Social Watch 
Annual Report several times in the past. Social Watch is an 
international network of organizations dedicated to eradicate poverty 
worldwide, to ensure an equitable distribution of wealth and the 
realization of human rights. The network is promoted and developed by 
several hundred groups and organizations in more than 60 countries. For

The Social Watch Report 2013 aims to become a powerful evidence-based 
statement from civil society on the obstacles and failures of the 
current approach to Millennium Development Goals. Social Watch national 
partners worldwide should identify their own country's priorities; and 
how the current development framework in-country addresses these 
priorities. For more details, please check the attached documents.

If you are interested to participate, please send your drafts to 
<director at ngocentre.org.vn> (copy <communications at ngocentre.org.vn>) and 
we will consolidate your inputs into the final report. The deadline for 
submitting your drafts is 31 October 2012.
