Dear INGO directors:

Last Friday Minister Vinh from the Ministry of Planning and Investment 
(MPI) invited ambassadors and development partners to discuss the future 
of Consultative Group (CG) meetings and a draft agenda for the upcoming 
CG meeting on 10 December 2012. Two of your colleagues -official INGO 
representatives- and I attended this meeting and made some inputs. I 
would like to brief you about the outcomes of the meeting with MPI; and 
to discuss a few other issues concerning INGOs in Vietnam. I will email 
the final agenda before next Wednesday, but I wanted to ask you to 
'reserve' the date in your calendars as follows:

DATE: 7 November 2012 (Wednesday)
TIME: 2:00 PM
VENUE: VUFO-NGO Resource Centre, La Thanh Hotel, 218  Doi Can, Hanoi

Please confirm your attendance or appoint a senior staff through: 
<administrator at ngocentre.org.vn> or (04) 3832-8570. Kindly limit your 
attendance to only one person from each INGO. Our meeting room's 
capacity is 40-50 people and we may need to secure a larger room in La
