I would like to announce a new Steering Committee member at the INGO Forum,
which will be scheduled for that day. Please note that each organization can
vote for only one candidate. In order to make your decision easier, I have
enclosed short biographies for the four candidates:

Aid (NPA) in April 2010. NPA is a Norwegian based INGO working in more than
30 countries world-wide. NPA engagement centres on just distribution of

NPA's portfolio in Vietnam includes a mine action project based in Hue,
support of capacity building under the Restoring the Environment and
Neutralizing the Effects of the War (RENEW) project in Quang Tri province,

Action Centre (VBMAC) under MoLISA through the establishment of a national
database for Mine action, support of the Social Policy Ecology Research
Institute (SPERI) in their national resource management research projects in
Lao Cai, and support to the Institute for Studies of Social, Economy and
Environment within civil society research. Prior to moving to Vietnam,
Jonathon was the Country Programme Manager for NPA's explosive ordnance
